The Customer Logistics Supervisor or Driver Manager is typically dedicated to an assigned area of responsibility within an account or location. The incumbent ensures that productivity and operational goals are met in order to deliver customer satisfaction. Position is dedicated to overseeing a shift/team of 30+ team members and is assigned several areas of responsibility within the location. The incumbent ensures that productivity and operational goals are met in order to deliver customer satisfaction. Individual will be working in a clean, climate-controlled environment, working with a Co-Supervisor to enable a high level of leadership that focuses on delivering continuous measurable improvement to the customer through excellent support of their production team.

Requirements
H.S. diploma/GED
One (1) year or more experience in logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with employees, peers, and management
Strong organizational, follow-up, and computer skills required
Ability to work self directed with minimal supervision
Ability to manage individual performance and employee relations
Ability to use sound judgement when information is incomplete or ambiguous
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (Intermediate level, Preferred )
Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) depending on position (Intermediate level)
Knowledge of OSHA required; DOT and Hazmat knowledge based on the account (Intermediate level)
Responsibilities
Lead shift start up meeting to communicate daily/shift goal of facility and work group(s). Devise, communicate, and implement plans to obtain operational goals. Work with and motivate employees to ensure goal achievement. Provide progress or constraint updates to management
Hire, train and supervise leads and hourly employees in the assigned work group(s)
Provide leadership for employees through in depth training and continuous review of employee understanding of policies, procedures, and processes. Create a productive work environment through effective communication, coaching, motivating, and leading by example
Support and aid in the development of system and process training for employees in the work group(s). Perform administrative functions to include tracking of time, attendance, and performance feedback
Instruct and enforce location safety management plans, training, and processes
Identify and/or solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, to strengthen team unity, goals, productivity, and results
Assign employees to individual tasks and ensure required tools are available
Performs other duties as assigned
