Ryder System WMS Control Room Analyst - 3rd shift in SPRING HILL, Tennessee

Position Description

The WMS Control Room Analyst is dedicated to an assigned area of responsibility within an account or location. The Analyst ensures that productivity and operational goals are met in order to deliver customer satisfaction. Individual will be working in a dynamic environment that focuses on delivering continuous measurable improvement to the customer.

  • Work with GM’s WMS Control Room Lead and Ryder Senior WMS Analyst to manage part attribute and location guide updates, and ensure WMS is configured correctly.

  • Monitor, manage and/or address WMS Control Room alerts such as last container picked, part below min, system generated cycle counts, etc.

  • Troubleshoot receiving and inventory discrepancies to ensure proper material flow is maintained in an expedient manner.

  • Ability to solve complex inventory accuracy issues and work in a high pace and challenging manufacturing environment.

  • Support Quality Team with initiating inventory recall from their location(s) as well as assigning lock codes as needed.

  • Previous experience with Ryder/GM systems such as LCM, MGO, Min Tracker a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL applications.

  • Ensure expected material flow by managing interaction between WMS and other plant systems as well as the physical environment (barcodes, Wi-Fi, etc)

  • Utilize reports to investigate operator compliance and system integrity issues

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations required

  • Minimum of 6 (six) months supervisory experience required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 Years of experience in a transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred

  • Knowledge/Experience in transportation environment, (i.e. Shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution or dispatch) preferred

  • Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred
