Ryder System Quality Process Coordinator in SPRING HILL, Tennessee

Position Description

The Quality Process Coordinator is responsible ISO 9001:2015 compliance; creation, control and management of standardized work instructions; as well as oversight of supplier/production quality issues. The incumbent will handle any inbound quality issues; internal process quality issues; as well as maintain the internal audit program and other aspects of Ryder’s QMS.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • ISO 9001:2015 experience

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Strong customer service skills

Knowledge of:

  • ISO 9001:2015experience is strongly preferred

  • Manufacturing quality experience is preferred

  • Microsoft Office applications with Excel experience is required

Ability to:

  • Utilize math skills to analyze data

  • Walk on concrete floor up to eight hours a day

  • Work effectively with individuals from different areas and backgrounds, both inside and outside of the company; team player

  • Organize and prioritize tasks in fast paced environment

  • Feel comfortable speaking in front of others

  • Drafting of professional emails

  • Lift up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities:

  • Control of nonconforming product

  • Control of documentation, creation of standard work instructions

  • Audits

  • Creation and distribution of Excel reports

  • Oversee supplier sorts and reworks

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience with inventory systems

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Strong customer service skills

Ability to:

  • Utilize math skills to analyze data

  • Walk on concrete floor up to eight hours a day

  • Work effectively with individuals from different areas and backgrounds, both inside and outside of the company; team player

  • Organize and prioritize tasks

Knowledge of:

  • Cross dock processes; previous experience in the department

  • Inventory Management

  • Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that materials flow smoothly and efficiently through the location

  • Share information in a timely manner with authorized personnel
