Summary

Objective of the Manager Sales Operations role is to strengthen the capabilities of the Sales Operations team to provide analytical support for the Sales Leadership Team. The role provides thoughtful analysis to various types of sales information requests that the Sales Operations team receives. This information helps support our leaders' decision making process, which eventually leads to sales growth.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with field sales leadership to understand reporting requirements to drive revenue growth.

  • Develop and maintain a suite of Senior Management and Executive sales reporting.

  • Process ad-hoc requests for analysis on leading and trailing indicators of sales results, activity, territory planning and other projects and requests as assigned.

  • Work with IT for the development of enhancements that generate and consolidate data not currently available.

  • Proactively produce additional leading metrics that would point out areas where sales people and their manager need to focus to increase chance of success in obtaining new customers and retaining existing ones.

  • Train and manage direct reports.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Provide insight into sales trends to optimize performance of our sales force.

  • Assist in the process of defining new Sales Operations procedures and refining existing ones. In particular, keep tight control of procedures, reports and analysis around pipeline management.

  • Ensure seamless execution of assigned programs.

  • Assist in the process of determining potential data discrepancies.

Skills and Abilities

  • Analytical thought process to discover problems and suggest best way to solve them

  • Business acumen to understand management perspective and anticipate likely questions

  • Excellent communication skills to uncover issues and obtain buy-in from others to new ideas.

  • Experience presenting to executives (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required marketing, finance, computer science, engineering or relevant field

  • Master's degree preferred MBA

  • Four (4) years or more with Salesforce administration experience required

  • Cloud contact center (e.g., Five9) experience preferred

  • Marketing Automation Tools experience preferred
