This position will be responsible for leading and managing the Product Development & Innovation team focused on identifying evaluating and progressing new products, markets and incremental capabilities that contribute to the growth and margin improvements. Work directly with the customer and business owner to identify new ideas and collaborate across verticals, regions, and functional areas to create, develop and implement solutions. Oversee the product development process, governance, prioritization and coordination of current and future initiatives. Lead the development and deployment of new & incremental capabilities that drive business growth, improved efficiencies and bottom line margin. Develop relations and act as the primary point of communications with the vertical leaders, business sponsors and support functions for all product development initiatives
Drive the process through quickly assessing product strategies by understanding needs, satisfaction drivers, performance requirements and business case throughout the value chain/channel structure
Acts as the product expert for selective product development initiatives including ownership of definition/specifications product positioning, features/benefits communication, product training, and transition to operational management
Manage and develop the product development team and process, including new innovation research, idea submission and product development prioritization process
Support the strategic business planning process with Strategy that support vertical product development priorities
Primary contact for Vertical Development, Marketing Steering Committee and Executive Committee
Monitors industry, technology and business trends to identify opportunities, threats and benchmarks competitive products to identify sources of competitive advantage.
Shares best practices and learning across verticals.
Responsible for leading the effort in identifying, evaluating and progressing new products, markets and incremental capabilities that contribute to the growth and margin improvements

Bachelor's degree Related field.
U.S.\MBA or U.S.\Master's Degree Related field required.
Ten (10) years or more experience Equivalent experience in Business Planning, Strategy Development, Competitive Analysis and Financial Analysis
Ten (10) years or more experience in Logistics, Operations, Engineering or Solution Development. preferred
Ten (10) years or more experience Demonstrated experience in new product development preferred
Five (5) years or more experience Familiarity with Global Business practices affecting the Supply Chain
Eight (8) years or more experience with or ability to understand commercial implications of solutions proposed, potential areas of risk and methods to limit liability
Eight (8) years or more experience in Financial Business Case Analysis to help support targeted return on investment
Ten (10) years or more experience Demonstrated success in assessing, developing and deploying new offerings or incremental enhancements
Previous Supply Chain/Logistics experience required
Ability to analyze and help develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies
Demonstrated skills in organizational group process, problem identification and resolution at both a strategic and functional level
Strong planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization and presentation skills
Proficient in project management methodology with a focus on managing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals
Ability to articulate issues, present “pros and cons” and provide solutions to next supervisor level
Travel to domestic and international client locations in North American United States, Canada and Mexico
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skillsDetail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Third Party Logistics industries; advanced level.
