Ryder System Facility Maintenance Coordinator in NOVI, Michigan

Position Description

Assist the Facility Manager in the delivery of services to operate and maintain the property including customer/client services, facility maintenance, procurement and supplier management, Develop client relationships with key representatives in supporting Ryder's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • H.S Diploma or GED equivalent is required

  • Minimum of 2 years Industry experience required either in Mail, Facility or Property services

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent customer, computer, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives

  • Basic knowledge of Mail and Building Systems

Responsibilities

  • Directly support the Facility Manager in executing the needs of managing the facility

  • Maintain client satisfaction with delivery of mail services and facility management services and support programs to increase customer satisfaction

  • Conduct inspections of facility pro-actively addressing any deficiencies

  • Support work order management for vendors as necessary

  • Support work order system requests associated with Facility Management and Operations teams

  • Support facility soft services as needed and directed (i.e., meeting preparation , conference room reservations, food services and vending)
