Ryder System Field Finance Manager: FMS in MIAMI, Florida
The Field Finance Manager is responsible for managing all of the finance and accounting support functions for a major field operation, including financial analysis and planning, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning.
This position can be based in either Miami, FL or Alpharetta, GA.
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - MBA or CPA strongly preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing these combined functions: finance and accounting suppor, to include financial analysis and planning, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Ryder operational finance experience a plus

Support Field Finance Director on monthly financial closing process, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, request for capital expenditures, and special projects
Manage a team of analysts to provide financial support to field operations and regional sales team to include monthly reporting and analysis of the financial results
Develop a strong understanding of the cost parameters of the FMS business model including labor, running costs, IT, facilities, etc.
Perform a broad spectrum of operations analysis which will include data gathering from various systems, perform analysis of data, arrive at conclusions and give recommendations to senior management on the information obtained
Collect, organize and evaluate data to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance
Conduct periodic audits of operations to ensure that Ryder's control processes are being followed at the operations
Train onsite operations personnel in the use of Ryder's financial systems and various reports; Ensure the integrity of financial systems and management reports
