The Employee Relations Coordinator is responsible for gathering information directly from employees, interpreting data, and ensuring the right information is to be used to action change.

Essential Functions

  • Conducting live stay on interviews with drivers at all levels of tenure; digging for more information to understand root issues

  • Depending on feedback; quickly gets the right people involved when quick action needs to be taken

  • Prepares analysis and recommendations to drive action for stronger employee engagement and retention

  • Submits final reports or proposals which may be reviewed by senior management

  • Active listening skills and works to understand the root of the issues

  • Demonstrates analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; can put people at ease quickly and connect with them via phone

  • Proven written communication/presentation skills

  • Highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Intermediate level skills with MS Word such as including styles, mail merge, tabs, tables, columns and breaks, graphics, fields, headers and footers, working with margins, page orientation, and spelling/grammar

  • Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/unhiding data, setting print titles and page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars and menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options

  • Able to work different times of the day to capture feedback

  • Two (2) years or more in related experience required
