Ryder System Affiliate Marketing Manager in MIAMI, Florida

Position Description

The Affiliate Marketing Manager for Used Vehicles will be instrumental in developing, nurturing and maximizing relationships with our affiliate partners. Ryder sells over 17,000 vehicles annually and will rely heavily on a strong affiliate marketing program. This role will lead this effort and will be directly responsible for building and maintaining relationships with all third party vehicle vendors, associations, partnerships and more.

We are looking for someone to be excited and passionate about rolling up their sleeves and making Ryder's inventory of thousands of used commercial vehicles available and attractive to the more than 1 million companies who operate these types of vehicles in the United States.

You'll be working closely with our Used Vehicle business leaders, marketing, and websites teams to ensure we are maximizing the reach of our most popular vehicles as well as finding the right partners to sell our more specialized equipment. This person will also be working with our pricing and finance teams to build promotions for specific partners both internally and externally.

The Affiliate Marketing Manager will need to analyze performance of each affiliate and work to optimize the budget and performance to maximize lead generation, quality and ultimately booked sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Three (3) years or more marketing experience preferably affiliate marketing or partnerships

  • Transportation or automotive experience preferred

  • Excellent business judgment and quantitative skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently with little supervision

  • Understanding data, gleaning insights that drive actionable tactics

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, organized and ability to prioritize

  • Clear demonstration of internal cross-functional partnership and collaboration

  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven startup environment

  • Passionate about the customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day management/support to affiliates and clients via phone and email

  • Develop strategy and execute plans to measurably grow clients online businesses

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, communicate performance of the programs, and recommend improvements

  • Work closely with Clients’ teams to plan and execute new promotions with affiliates (both internally and externally)

  • Maintain affiliate promotional calendar

  • Recruit and optimize relationships with new and existing marketing partners

  • Develop and execute communication to affiliates through newsletters

  • Work with technology team on implementing new or enhancing existing partner data feeds related to the affiliate program

  • Assess competitive landscape and provide recommendations, suggestions and education to internal teams

  • Ensure Affiliates are paid on time and accurately

  • Perform other duties as assigned
