Essential Functions
Validate/audit commission data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency as well as cross auditing of team members
Calculate monthly sales commission for US and Canada sales employees within specified deadlines (100+ employees)
Submit commission results to the Payroll team, adhering to payroll deadlines for each salary type.
Investigate and resolve any commission calculation discrepancies
Work closely with the sales team and sales leadership to review complex incentive calculations
Work with other business partners and departments such as, Payroll, Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, other
Assist with commission statement reconciliation and audits to validate commission and bonus calculations and payments
Prepare and input month-end journals in Workday.
Reconcile the accrued commissions account.
Update the commission’s system with changes to the sales team (new hires, terminations, and job changes).
Work closely with the IT Support team to implement and test commission plan changes.
Participate in or lead commission related special projects; Projects may include, but are not limited to, testing system upgrades/enhancements, commission analysis, developing ad hoc reports, and process improvement initiatives

Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables required)
Must enjoy and be good at working with numbers and complex calculations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance
Three (3) years or more General Accounting and/or Finance experience preferred
Experience with commission calculations required
Experience with the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system preferred

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $53K to $70K.
