Ryder System Transportation / Dispatch Supervisor - 2nd Shift in HEBRON, Kentucky
Position Description
The Driver Supervisor internally titled, Customer Logistics Supervisor typically dedicated to one logistics account and is responsible for all aspects of operations and account management. The CLS is primarily responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals and objectives within an assigned functional area or account.
The Customer Logistics Supervisor / Driver Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the standardized daily routes for drivers are adhered. The position will be based at the clients place of business and customer interaction / service is of utmost importance. The Customer Logistics Supervisor / Driver Supervisor will be communicating with Local drivers assigned to the account on a daily basis.
Must be computer savvy / literate
Management, supervisory, or lead experience required
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple personalities required
Servient Leadership style (Put employees before oneself)
Ability to develop employees
Shift: M-F 4PM-12AM

Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations required
Minimum of 6 (six) months supervisory experience required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 Years of experience in a transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred
Knowledge/Experience in transportation environment, (i.e. Shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution or dispatch) preferred
Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred
