Ryder System Case Picker - Split Shift in Frankfort, Indiana

Position Description

Ryder is hiring for Full Time Case Pickers

The Case Picker is responsible to efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.

About the position:

  • Pay:

  • $18.75 per hour + production incentive - $0.50 raise after 6 months and another $0.50 raise after another 6 months!

  • Available schedules:

  • B Shift - Fri/Sat 5:30am-4pm and Mon/Tue 4:30pm-3am

  • Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of warehouse experience

  • Ability to operate standon pallet jack and walkie rider

  • Must be available for overtime

  • Physically capable to lift 15-50lbs continuously while bending, reaching, kneeling and pulling

  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Must have adequate math skills

  • Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes

  • Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices


  • Picking product and case pick.

  • Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.

  • Safely operate material handling equipment.

  • Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.

  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
