Ryder System Maintenance Mechanic (Forklift/Building) in FORT WORTH, Texas

Responsibilities:
Examine and perform testing on machinery for malfunctions
Complete preventative machinery maintenance.
Perform emergency repairs on several varieties of machinery, including conveyors, dock doors, palletizers, wrap machinery, and forklifts
Ability to coordinate with vendors for major repairs
Communication with all positions on site and our customer
Leadership
Forklift maintenance (replace hoses, controllers, etc…)
General Maintenance ie…plumbing and electrical
Budget management
Order parts
Vendor management
GMP training/engagement with new vendors
Must have experience with forklift, electrical, and plumbing repair.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st Shift.

Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations required
Minimum of 6 (six) months supervisory experience required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 Years of experience in a transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred
Knowledge/Experience in transportation environment, (i.e. Shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution or dispatch) preferred
Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred
Responsibilities

Quality assurance Administrative duties
Customer satisfaction/problem resolution
Ensure functional area meets all productivity goals and objectives
