Summary
The Logistics Analyst will utilize core engineering tools and skills to support our customer’s supply chain. The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations.
Essential Functions
Intermediate level skills with MS Word such as including styles, mail merge, tabs, tables, columns and breaks, graphics, fields, headers and footers, working with margins, page orientation, and spelling/grammar
Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/un-hiding data, setting print titles & page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars & menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options
Additional Responsibilities
Collects data and performs statistical analysis
Maps and documents processes
Conducts transportation analysis
Participates in continuous improvement projects Works with other team members to develop alternative solutions
Uses Lean Six Sigma tools (5s and 5whys)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required Industrial Engineering or Business
One (1) year or more Industry related experience required
