Ryder is hiring an AGV Operators for
the NIGHT shift in Dallas, TX!
The purpose of this position is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required.
About the position:
Consistent pay:$19.00/ HR + $3.25 Shift premium
Schedule: B2: Thu-Sat + alt Weds, both hours: 4:00 PM-4:00 AM
Requirements:
Must have1 Yr. AGV Experience
Must have 1 Yr. Warehouse Experience
Must Have 1 Yr. Forklift Clamp truck experience
Motivated & Dependable

Other requirements:Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test

The Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) Operator support the operation of AGV to ensure the accurate transfer of product into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years or more Experience Related warehouse experience
Two (2) years or more Experience Powered industrial lift experience
Ability to:
Read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc
Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Input data into computer system(s) in use
Work overtime as assigned
Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Work independently and as member of a team
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Operate powered industrial trucks (s), such as: Stand-up and Sit down forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, etc including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) (advanced level)
May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) (intermediate level) preferred
Powered industrial truck certification preferred
Safety Sensitive Position
Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery
Responsibilities
Provide corrective maintenance to AGV units that have stopped or are not working as expected
Manually override or complete the job the AGV unit failed to complete
Track issues/repairs and utilize escalation process
Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
May be required to perform other warehouse functions
May be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of various powered industrial lift equipment
