Responsible for the analysis and utilization of continuous improvement methodology to lead the design of complex Supply Chain Solutions for current and future operations. Provides regular and proactive communications to customers and Ryder Senior Management.


Manages multiple and complex Supply Chain projects

Actively supports the sales process and creates high quality solutions and designs

Applies company methodologies and tools to design distribution and/or transportation operations

Establishes and implements performance measures

Provides proposal and presentation support and development

Provides resource planning based on priorities and demand signals


Independently identifies process gaps, recommends and implements process improvement

Makes inventory and/or Supply Chain strategy recommendations

May assist in providing logistics training as part of Ryder Academy

Effectively interacts with customers, Sales and Operations to create value propositions

Confers with Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions

Performs other duties as assigned.


Bachelor's degree Engineering, Business, Supply chain or minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.

Master's degree Industrial Engineering and/or Masters Degree preferred.


Eight (8) years or more experience Related work experience


Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Possesses strong technical aptitude.

Effective leadership skills. Decision quality, dealing with ambiguity, business acumen, managing & measuring work, developing, direct and motivate direct reports and others. Innovation management. Command skills, managing vision and purpose

Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).

Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty. Fast learner

Ability to build strong customer relationships.


Total Work Systems (TQM); advanced level.


Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (1 Year, required).

Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) (1 Year, preferred).
