The Billing Analyst is primarily responsible to prepare and analyze weekly billing/invoices for the Field division in order to prepare customized billing solutions for customers. The billing analyst focuses on enhancing and streamlining billing activities and processes, serving as the primary contact between customers and Ryder to ensure effective development, implementation and administration of departmental systems, processes and reporting requirements.

College Degree is required.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
A minimum of 2 years of finance/accounting/business experience
Advanced level skills in MS Excel Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Candidate must possess strong problem solving and technical skills
Must be able to operate within a fast paced work environment while coordinating multiple tasks
Analyzes customers' billing processes to discuss key aspects of financials in order to recommend key aspects of financial improvements, including reducing costs and maximizing profitability
Researches and resolves billing discrepancies and recommends process improvements
Generates KPI (Key Performance Indicators)and other statistical data for customers
Analyzes the various revenue buckets that are billed to customers on a weekly basis, including revenue and commodity code analysis
Analyzes operational data to ensure billing efficiency
Conducts research and compiles data in order to prepare customized reports
Ad Hoc requests and special projects as necessary
Conducts weekly audits of route details which directly correlate to the customer's invoice
