SUMMARY

This position expands Ryder foot print in the Marketplace and shortens the sales cycle by turning over more highly qualified leads to field sales. This position is responsible for Local Accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Engages in lead nurturing and based on the lead's match to the ICP and their activity level, assesses whether and when the Lead merits one-on-one attention

Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and use BANT Lead qualification criteria to determine if the Lead merits assigning a sales resource

Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Ryder Sales Representative

Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's Value Proposition and Services offered

Maintains a high level of call volume in order to pass qualified leads to sales, set customer appointments and generate revenue dollars

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Can recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converse on transportation industry topics

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree business/marketing or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years or more experience in successful sales.

Three (3) years or more experience with Inside Sales. preferred.

Five (5) years or more experience selling in a B2B environment.

SKILLS

. Ability to use technology and self-motivated to accurately research and engage customers to identify future opportunities

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Able to communicate clearly with C-Level customer and with experience Ryder Sales Team

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate sales aptitude, assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated, excellent closing skills

Good mathematical ability

Excellent organizational skills. Effective time and activity management skills

Mature and self-confident with the ability to work under pressure

Detail and goal oriented, must be able to reach and exceed monthly/yearly quotas. Able to prioritize work

Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty. Aptitude for acquiring selling skills and product knowledge

Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

KNOWLEDGE

Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet; advanced level.

Know how to utilize keyboard/PC to capture in a dynamic way, customer discovery; advanced level.
