Ryder System Sales Operations Analyst in MIAMI, Florida
The Sales Operations Analyst will complete sales and customer analytics using the latest tools that impact Ryder's marketing plans and business strategy. They will be responsible for driving pipeline analysis required to support strategic initiatives in key industry verticals. The incumbent will also collaborate with other teams to identify insights, support business planning, forecasting and sales performance.
Candidates with a strong business background, preferably with statistics. This position will help in the sales reporting process and perform analytics.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance or related field
One (1) year or more experience in marketing, strategy, finance, or IT
Strong research and analytical skills, including statistical expertise
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and strong analytical skills with data
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
Ability to interact at a leadership level
Experience of market insight research (intermediate level)
Must demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or any other marketing/strategy related computer programs including SQL, Alteryx, Tableau (intermediate level)
Sales Operations on a wide range of pipeline insight and sales performance utilizing data analytics in Excel and Salesforce. The analyst will utilize their research work to prepare concise summary reports with key pipeline insights and recommendations for presentation to senior management. Analysis includes work with account information in Salesforce (customer and prospect), customer financial information, territories/verticals, and market data that may be qualitative in nature (industry research reports) as well as quantitative (pipeline, prospecting activities). Key studies conducted by the analyst include health of the pipeline, incorporating share of wallet information, win/loss reporting, managing collaboration reporting to identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities from among current customers, and closing sales packages
Work independently on closing out sales opportunities for reporting and tracking, advising on new tools for productivity or insights, and business planning process - working across departments
Collaborate with other analysts and managers on the Insights team to complete required analytical projects requests on a timely basis, and prepare and make presentations to/for directors and sales leadership
Performs other duties as assigned including management of Workfront (a project management tool for tracking and reporting team progress against assigned tasks), management of the team Share Point site and VP Library of completed projects.
