Position Description:

The Human Resources Information Analyst , evaluates, analyzes, designs and maintains the company's human resources information system under guidance of direct supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in related discipline or two years of experience in a reporting environment

  • Solid knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and similar packages

  • Developing knowledge of Human Resources function, information needs, reporting requirements, workflow, and functional technology solutions

  • Basic functional knowledge of HR and Payroll operations

  • Must have good technical skills, including a working knowledge of system operating environments, technologies and applications

  • Some experience in process analysis and design techniques in system mapping, re-engineering

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet varying deadlines

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical customers at all levels within the organization

  • SAP experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with other similarly configured systems may be substituted if relevant and up-to-date

Responsibilities:

  • Performs the following assignments requiring an overall grasp of one or more disciplines

  • Maintains SAP's organizational management structure

  • Maintains the "HR Responsible Person" table in SAP and related databases and is responsible for the process of keeping the information up-to-date on an on-going basis

  • Maintains the "Report To" SAP functionality up-to-date and is responsible for the process from research to system update

  • Provides reporting and training support to end-users by developing SAP queries, Access reports,Excel spreadsheets, or any other relevant software

  • Makes program modifications to existing reports as necessary

  • Helps coordinate collection and preparation of routine and special reports according to business needs

  • Develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of the HR system in order to effectively utilize its capabilities

  • Trains end-users

  • Helps monitor system for problems

  • Helps identify and implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Helps provide assistance in system upgrades/patches through testing, reporting and analysis of changes
