Position Description:

The Compensation Coordinator provides general support for a variety of Compensation activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree in in mathematics, finance, accounting, HR management, or related field preferred

  • Two (2) years or more of experience in a HR environment

  • One (1) year or more of experience in the area of compensation/human resources preferred

  • Ability to:

  • Read and/or listen and understand information and ideas communicated

  • manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments

  • Maintain confidential information

  • Work independently and as a member of a team

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records and logs. Record, itemize, collate, and tabulate data

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates survey submissions; prepares compensation surveys in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring job matches and tracking the completion of surveys and invoicing from the vendors. Research, compile, and summarize compensation information for the Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) department of labor reporting requirements

• Develops and researches responses to the RFPs related to compensation for negotiations; makes recommendations pertaining to the wages

• Updates, edits, and maintains job descriptions files (electronic via HRTMS ); serves as backup to HRTMS System Administrator

• Provides administrative support including, but not limited to, ordering and maintaining supplies, paying and maintaining track of bills, setting up and maintaining different files (electronic and hard copy) and answering basic compensation inquiries

• Generates and distributes numerous pre-programmed reports; may develop, set up, use, and send routine communications and reports and maintains tracking systems as required

• Enters data into the different HRIS systems, and databases. Run audits and correct data. Creates several listings and reports

• Supports Compensation team in providing compensation assistance to Human Resources Managers and others

• Works on special projects as assigned

• Performs other duties as assigned
