Position Description:

The Quality Admin assists the Quality Manager with administrative tasks associated with documentation of ISO9001 related policies, practices, and materials. This role includes coordinating quality audits and assisting the Quality Manager with implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The primary goal will be to help improve quality awareness throughout the production process and customer satisfaction through delivery of a quality product, as well as contributing to our ISO9001 certification efforts through administrative functions.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quality Manager with administrative tasks

  • Coordinate with manager the quality management system ISO standards updates

  • Assist with preparation of material needed for employee training programs

  • Assist in the scheduling and tracking of audits

  • Track, record and compile data associated with document control process

  • Manage, file and organize quality assurance documentation

  • Perform periodic quality audits on the production floor as required

  • Participate in investigations regarding quality concerns or defect analysis

  • Assist in the reporting of quality performance issues

  • Work as part of the Quality Team to improve quality

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent One year of clerical or warehouse experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods Strong customer service skills are required

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Knowledge of WMS preferred

  • Experience operating forklift equipment preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed

  • Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed

  • Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature

  • Floor work and additional duties as assigned

  • Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift

  • Maintains filing systems and documents

  • Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support

  • Coordinates activities / meetings / communication for the specific area or shift
